Privacy Policy
How UltraClear Wastewater handles information from municipal, industrial, and other wastewater customers and website visitors.
This policy applies to the UltraClear Wastewater website and our LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms. It is separate from the privacy policy for the UltraClear consumer pond store.
Information we collect
When you submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form or a form on our website, we collect the information you provide. This may include your name, work email address, company or organization, job title, phone number, and details about your facility, treatment needs, or assessment request.
We also collect website activity and campaign information, such as pages visited, referring websites, and UTM campaign parameters. Our website can remember your first visit’s attribution in browser storage for up to 90 days and attach it to a later inquiry.
How we use your information
We use your contact and facility information to follow up on assessment requests, prepare dosing guidance or pricing, respond to questions, and provide requested technical support. We use website analytics to understand campaign performance and improve the site.
How information is shared
We do not sell your lead contact information or share it with other companies for their own marketing. Authorized service providers that host our website, store inquiries, and deliver email may process information on our behalf to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Advertising and analytics tools receive browsing information as described below. This is separate from the contact details you submit in a lead form; we do not send your form fields to LinkedIn through the Insight Tag.
Advertising measurement and cookies
The automatic cookie banner is currently disabled. On the published site, Google Ads, LinkedIn advertising tracking, and Google Analytics (GA4) are enabled by default for visitors without a saved choice. You can turn either category off through Cookie settings; existing saved rejections are honored. Advertising and analytics tags remain disabled in development previews.
Google Ads measures successful inquiries, clicks on phone links, and eligible calls through Google forwarding numbers. When Advertising is enabled, a successful inquiry sends your normalized email address and, when available, phone number to the Google tag for enhanced conversions. Google uses this information in hashed form to match conversions to advertising interactions. We also send the inquiry’s transaction identifier, a configured conversion value, and currency. See Google’s Privacy Policy. Phone-click measurement does not establish that a call was completed.
Our website uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure visits and advertising performance and to create audiences that allow us to show ads to previous website visitors. The tag may use cookies and collect information such as page URLs, referrers, IP addresses, browser and device characteristics, and timestamps. LinkedIn may associate this activity with a LinkedIn member account and provide us with aggregated reporting.
Learn how LinkedIn handles this information in its Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. You can manage advertising preferences in your LinkedIn account and block or delete cookies using your browser settings. These choices may limit tracking and remarketing.
Other analytics and browser storage
Use here or in any page footer to accept, reject, or change either category independently. We store your choice in local browser storage for 180 days. If storage is blocked, your choice lasts only for the current page. Invalid or expired stored choices, unreadable storage, and a withdrawal safety marker keep both optional tags off. Default tracking does not create a record claiming you consented.
Withdrawing permission stops future site-triggered events, removes accessible first-party cookies for the withdrawn category, and reloads the page to stop already-loaded tracking scripts. If your browser refuses to save the change, both optional tags stay off after that reload and we ask you to choose again. Save unfinished forms before withdrawing. This does not undo data already sent; third-party cookies cannot be deleted by this site and can be managed in your browser or provider settings.
These choices control GA4 and LinkedIn, not our separate Replit website measurement, first-visit campaign attribution stored for up to 90 days, or information needed to process inquiries. You can still browse, download resources, and submit inquiries with both optional categories off.
We use Google Analytics to measure website activity and successful inquiries, and Replit website analytics to understand page visits and interactions. Google Analytics may use cookies. Our GA4 and Replit event payloads do not include your name, email, phone number, or inquiry text; Google Ads enhanced conversions use contact information as described above. Blocking cookies or browser storage may affect the accuracy of analytics and campaign attribution.
Separately from optional vendor tags, we retain first-visit campaign attribution and the most recent Google advertising click identifiers (gclid, gbraid, or wbraid), with the visit time and landing page, in browser storage and attach them to inquiries. A later tagged visit replaces the latest-click record without overwriting first-touch attribution. Clear this site’s browser storage to remove these device records.
Retention and security
We retain inquiry information as needed to respond to your request, maintain relevant business records, and meet legal obligations. We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no online transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Access, deletion, and contact
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you submitted, email sales@ultraclear.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Include the email address used for your inquiry so we can locate it. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records required by law. You can also ask us to stop contacting you.
For information held independently by LinkedIn, use LinkedIn’s privacy controls or contact LinkedIn directly. To remove first-visit attribution stored on your device, clear this website’s browser storage.
Updates to this policy
We may update this page as our practices change. Please review it periodically for current information.
